ALI KAFRI
Ali Al-Kafri was a Palestinian artist born in 1948 in Lubya, near Tiberias. After the Nakba, his family moved to Syria, where he lived most of his life in Damascus. He studied at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in Cairo and built a long artistic career, creating thousands of works. His paintings often reflect Palestinian memory, Arab-Islamic heritage, traditional objects, figures, and emotional cultural symbolism. He passed away in 2022.
